PROGRAM OVERVIEW

McKesson’s Intern program is 10-12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Market Growth Intern to join our team. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the sales and marketing functions of a dynamic organization. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, develop essential skills, and contribute to various projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Market Research:

  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and new market opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of lead generation strategies.

Customer Data Management:

  • Maintain and update customer databases to ensure accurate and current information.
  • Assist in data analysis to identify patterns and insights for targeted marketing efforts.

Sales & Marketing Materials

  • Develop engaging content for sales and marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and case studies.
  • Create compelling social media posts and digital content to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience.

Event Support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing and sales events, such as webinars, trade shows, and product launches.
  • Coordinate logistics and provide on-site support during events.

Job Shadowing and Training:

  • Participate in job shadowing opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of various roles within the sales and marketing team.
  • Attend training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in sales and marketing practices.
