The Opportunity
Cochlear has an opportunity for Sales & Marketing Associate based in our Addlestone office. In this role, the Sales & Marketing Associate will supporting the Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator in the delivery of the administrative, logistical and events programme of the Atlantics sales and marketing teams, in order to facilitate the timely and effective delivery of regular commercial activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support UK Sales/Marketing employee travel including hotel, air, car, etc. bookings, ensuring timely communication
  • Fulfil requests for information and marketing literature from the field and customers
  • Support the maintenance of digital marketing materials
  • Maintain and manage library of promotional equipment, ensuring it meets business needs, is up to date, accurately tracked and in presentable condition
  • Coordinate integrity test equipment and Baha drill management for field staff as required
  • Execute purchase orders for manager approval, set up new accounts and ensure payments are completed
  • Arrange team and miscellaneous meetings
  • Book meeting venues, assembles material and/or reports for meetings
  • Arrange logistics (transport, refreshments, meals) for team meetings when required
  • Any other duties that may be required within sales/marketing teams dependent upon priorities
  • Assist in the arrangement of internal and external events under the guidance of the Sales and Marketing Coordinator or relevant team member
  • Place supplier orders and make bookings within budget and monitor spend
  • Initiate and track courier/shipping of collateral and support items to events
  • Administer sponsorship requests, record them appropriately, and ensure relevant approval process and transition to payment
  • Assist in arranging customer travel for events, with clear associated communication
  • Ensure relevant CRM records are kept up to date

Essential

  • Experience in an event and/or administration role or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Dynamic and results orientated
