R&D Business Systems / EPASS Software is a successful and profitable software company located in the new Health and Technology District in Surrey City Centre, close to the King George Skytrain station. We specialize in custom software for the Appliance, Electronics and Furniture Sales & Service industries. We have been in business since 1973 and have an established client base across North America.
The EPASS Enterprise System covers all business and operational facets of the industry - including POS, inventory control, dispatching, mapping, barcoding, mobile solutions, e-commerce and fully integrated accounting. Position: EPASS Sales & Marketing Specialist
Reporting to the Director of Training & Operations, the Sales & Marketing Specialist will be responsible for generating & managing sales leads, assisting with onboarding of new EPASS clients, and managing all Tradeshow communications. All EPASS client prospects are to receive a white-glove onboarding experience. The ideal candidate will preferably have Sales & Marketing experience within the appliance, electronics, or furniture industries, or a similar industry.
You need to be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident, and must be willing and able to travel in both Canada and the US. Travel and time spent on-site at client locations across North America will be based on industry demand and will vary from month to month with an overall average of up to 30% of time travelling.
Our team of 30+ mostly work out of our office in Surrey, with much of our sales & training team working remotely in the Greater Toronto area. If you are based in Greater Toronto then this would be a remote position (when not travelling) and if you are based in the Lower Mainland then it would be a hybrid option working in-office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining all Sales leads / Prospects in EPASS database
  • Follow up with Sales leads / prospects via calls and emails
  • Generate New leads, establishing relationships through social media, marketing campaigns
  • Engage with Prospective clients to build rapport and cultivate a strong relationship
  • Scheduling and conducting high level webinars providing insight on EPASS Software
  • Follow up with direct report re scheduling of specific topic-based webinars
  • Remain key point of contact with Prospect until Signed on
  • Create Sales Quotes - work with direct report re review & approval
  • Establish relationships with Tradeshow partners
  • Handling all Booth Registrations, and tasks needed pertaining to Booth & Vendor registration for tradeshows and conventions
  • Work with Documentation Specialist re preparing all Material for tradeshows & conventions
  • Attending / travelling on-site to tradeshows and conventions
  • Maintain all Sales and Tradeshow schedules in Company calendars
  • Work closely with the Training department supporting tasks when needed
  • Track all travel related expenses for monthly submission
  • Work on all Sales, Marketing and Training Materials as requested by the department
  • Work with the Documentation Specialist re company website content, blog posts

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within either a Sales or Marketing role or both
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail Oriented
  • Quick learner
  • Self-motivated and have a drive for excellence
  • Take initiative to ask questions when clarification is needed
  • Manage priorities
  • Ability to engage the audience when meeting online and in person
  • Bookkeeping/Accounting best practices would be an asset
  • Be able to travel in both Canada and the US
  • Must have a class 5 driver’s license

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Ability to work flex hours, days/evenings/weekends when needed, based on connecting with clients in various time zones
  • Availability from Monday through Friday and Saturday/Sunday when needed
