Sales/Marketing Support Officer
In order to reinforce the growing commercial team of Degroof Petercam Asset Management Switzerland we are looking for a new colleague to help the Senior Relationship Managers in the development, support, and follow-up of the wholesale and institutional clients and its marketing efforts in Switzerland.

The DPAM Switzerland Sales Team is active on two segments:

  • Commercializing DPAM investment funds towards distribution partners in Switzerland (private banks, IFAs, family offices, …)
  • Offering discretionary portfolio management to Institutional end-clients (pension-funds, insurance companies, non-profit entities, ..)

Your Position

The function of Sales/ Marketing Support Officer mainly covers the following elements:

  • Contribute to the maintenance of the relationship with existing clients (preparation of recurrent / ad hoc client reportings, answering to client requests, preparation of client meetings, offering support in contractual/legal requests, setting of client agenda, feeding of KYC/ALM information in the CRM, ….) in cooperation with the sales officer.
  • Contribute to the identification of new leads towards prospects (helping in market segmentation analysis, feeding of KYC/ALM information in the CRM, support to the preparation of RFP’s, ….) in cooperation with the sales officer.
  • Contribute to the organization of commercial events (administrative and operational support) in cooperation with the sales team and with the marketing team
  • Be the first point of contact for all sales
  • Manage a calendar of important dates and upcoming events
  • Follow-up on CRM activity and run standard CRM reports (business activities and opportunities)
  • Provide support for new sales processes and help to manage existing processes and improvements (client onboarding, servicing, etc)
  • Interact with all other departments to ensure proper follow-up on sales needs
  • Participate and contribute in regularly scheduled team meetings (fund meetings, product meetings, sales meetings)

Your Profile

  • You obtained a Master degree (economics, finance …) and you have by preference a first experience in the financial sector and/or in a commercial/marketing unit
  • You have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • You have a great interest in the financial industry, a demonstrable understanding of financial terminology and products
  • You are passionate about optimizing the sales process and the client experience
  • You are accurate, like working with figures and are service oriented
  • You have good interpersonal skills, have a strong team spirit and contribute to the success of an ambitious team
  • You are fluent in English, German, French
  • You are autonomous, well organized, stress resistant and can deal with strict deadlines
  • You like to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a strive for perfection
