Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Our Flights business is scaling fast and the Flights Commercial team requires a highly motivated Sales Operations Manager to join the dynamic team. The Sales Operations Manager will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing sales processes, driving sales performance amongst a wide set of internal and external stakeholders (Etraveli) and supporting the commercial team to achieve their targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated experience in sales operations management.
The core focus for the Flights Commercial team is to develop and drive execution of commercial opportunities in order to accelerate the growth trajectory of the Flights vertical. You will be building the sales operations function from the ground up, heavily collaborating with other teams within flights, with other Booking.com business units, and with our strategic partners, to build foundations for the long-term evolution of the Flights vertical.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Responsible for needs assessment and adoption of commercial tooling (i.e.: Salesforc, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Implement and manage effective sales workflows and automation tools.
  • Oversee administration and maintenance of CRM, ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry and integrity.
  • Analyze current sales processes/ ways of working with strategic partner Etraveli and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify commercial and operational improvements (i.e. new services, tools and procedures) by collecting information, generating insights and recommendations.
  • Explore and drive initiatives to continuously improve performance, increase airline engagement and experience.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure adequate implementation, communication, training & tracking of commercial projects.
  • Develop and maintain sales performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Generate and monitor sales performance reports to provide actionable insights to Flights Commercial Leadership team to improve performance;
  • Develop sales (training) materials and resources.
  • Provide sales support w/r/t event attendance & coordination.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  • 3-5 years experience in commercial/revenue operations
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Translate business needs into business opportunities, which can be executed in small steps, and prioritize them according to business value and impact;
  • Data driven, customer focused, proactive, creative and innovative;
  • Self-starter with high energy and drive; fast paced and results driven; forward thinking;
  • Work well independently and within a team;
  • Build relationships and manage stakeholders across different departments;
  • Clearly outline & present plan and future goals;
  • Good cultural and organizational sensitivity;
  • Fluent English speaker
