About the Role:
Matterport is looking to hire a Sales Operations Analyst who will be responsible for the development of reporting and insights to amplify the performance of its global revenue team.
The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams. To be successful in this role, you must be data-driven and have very strong business and technical analytical skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a high potential candidate to make a huge impact on Matterport during a key growth phase. The ideal candidate is an expert in industry-standard sales/analytics platforms and is adept in translating complex sets of customer, sales, and marketing data into meaningful insights.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 5+ years experience in business reporting and analytics supporting Sales and/or Finance teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Finance or other similar field
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis
  • Experience with Salesforce, Excel, Google Sheets, and data analytics tools(Looker, Tableau, Domo) with proficiency in visualization and dashboards
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis. Able to perform data analysis with SQL a bonus
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to explain technical and business concepts clearly to varied audiences. Experienced in translating business objectives into actionable analyses
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $83,100 to $138,500 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

  • Provide and maintain accurate reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence for sales forecasting, sales velocity, Industry, pipeline generation, and quarterly business reviews
  • Develops and maintains automated reports for daily consumption using specific formatting and presentation guidelines
  • Develop business requirements and collaborate with internal teams on data analytics strategy that will support accurate reporting and insights
  • Create and maintain reports and self-service dashboards to provide ongoing insight to business stakeholders and support leadership in making effective, data-driven decision
  • Independently lead reporting projects including but not limited to customer master, deal velocity, and customer success metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify new KPIs and implement plans to provide data insights
  • Review and analyze customer and sales data from data visualization tools (such as Looker) to deliver customer insights and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline analytics processes and reporting efficiencies and drive continuous improvements
  • Provide insight, recommendations, and QA for customer management platform integration and admin
