  • Proven experience in sales operations within a contract manufacturing or related industry
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Proficient in using CRM tools, preferrable Salesforce, relevant to contract manufacturing
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional team

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and refine sales processes and overall customer journey to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales, R&D, and production teams to ensure smooth handovers and execution of opportunities.
  • Implement best practices for pipeline success.
  • Develop and execute initiatives designed to optimize sales team efficiency and productivity.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop top of funnel process and automation for lead follow up and nurturing.
  • Complete knowledge and experience with forecasting and opportunity management as well as analytics in Salesforce.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of sales data related to contract manufacturing projects.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to contract manufacturing.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Manage and optimize the use of technology tools related to contract manufacturing, including CRM systems.
  • Develop an optimized customer journey process with CRM, utilizing automation where appropriate, to enable business decision-making based off of pipeline data.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on the use of relevant technologies.
  • Ensure data integrity within systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
