W Rome is currently casting for a Sales Operations Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role is responsible for coordinating and organizing all banquets, events and meetings on property.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage event timelines, liaise with B&F and other departments, overseeing event setup and breakdown, and address any issues that arise during the event.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquet events.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
  • Ensure very clear and smooth communication with clients and with hotel operations
  • Create detailed event timelines and schedules.
  • Coordinate with a variety of departments such as and not limited to rooms, kitchen, banquet operations, restaurants and bars to maintain highest service and B&F standards while maximizing profits through outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown and ensure all event details are executed according to plan.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests.
  • Work closely with the sales team to secure new business.
  • Maintain accurate records of all events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle multiple events simultaneously.
