Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales & Operations (S&OP) Director will lead the Sales and Operations Planning process within our Enterprise Informatics business. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, who can work collaboratively with various departments to balance supply and demand, optimize inventory levels, and achieve company financial targets. This position is located at our Amsterdam office.
Your role:
o Develop and maintain the S&OP strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
o Lead the monthly S&OP meetings, ensuring cross-functional participation and decision-making.
o Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, finance, and supply chain to gather accurate forecasts and demand signals.
o Analyze market trends, customer data, and sales pipelines to inform demand planning.
o Drive continuous improvement in the S&OP process through better analytics, technology, and process refinement.
o Develop and track KPIs related to inventory turns, service levels, forecast accuracy, and plan adherence.
o Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to ensure that S&OP decisions are well understood and executed.
o Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to communicate S&OP outcomes and recommendations.
o Some travel may be required - 5%
You’re the right fit if:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and operations (preference in Software business), with a significant portion in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of enterprise informatics, data analytics, and business intelligence tools.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
