A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Working with teams operating within a service group, or product group and/ or project group
• Assisting with the development, monitoring, coordination and implementation of projects
• Providing quantitative and qualitative analysis, industry research, reporting and internal communication services with team members
• Investigating and communicating potential opportunities for process improvement as well as potential project initiatives
• Working with different departments including sales, marketing and business development to develop knowledge of industry and organizational processes
• Scope of this internship:

Supply management:

• managing back orders
• following up on supply issues and finding replacements
• coordinating allocation and shipment process and logistics across organization
• monitoring availability of the products

Kit management and coordination:

• creation in the system
• updating price in Vendavo
• cooperation with CC, Pricing, VAT and Tender departments
• Process gaps identification and solution finding
• Project management
• Consignments stocks coordination
• Inventory management
• Demand Forecast and Sales Data Analytics
• Planning, execution to revenue & PO creation
• Collaboration across organization with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Transportation Teams.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Fluent in English (preferred at least C1)
• Recently graduated or in the last year of studies bachelor’s or master’s of Economy, Business, Programming, IT, Engineering
• Analytical, logical mindset
• Based in Johannesburg

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Internship details:

• Start date: October
• Duration: 12 months
• Location: Johannesburg
• Working hours: 40 h/week
• Working model: hybrid
