Description:

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Strategically allocate workload and sales operations support to manage fluctuations in the annual business cycle and sales functions (Mass, Independent Garden Centres, Wholesale and Resale, Planning & Inventory/Supply Management)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment of guest orders and service requirements
  • Uphold standards of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism among all supervised staff
  • Serve as a pivotal liaison between Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Act as the team’s Power BI expert, partnering with IT to develop new value-added and exception reporting
  • Coordinate and implement the logistics for trade shows and update/refresh any show special templates
  • Manage SPP agreements and targets/rebates and events.
  • Ensure effective utilization and management of CRM (HubSpot) for guest communications
  • Coaching & development of employees on the extended sales team where applicable
  • Coordination on monthly financial, reports, analysis for the department
  • Assist in cross-functional coordination and execution of farm sales initiatives.
  • Oversee the Credits/Debit memos posting process
  • Facilitate system updates including new items, sizes, locations, and pricing.
  • Open order maintenance, proactive A/P management with sales team
  • Ensure Customer Profiles are up-to-date and posted
  • Assist with other duties and directives as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of 3 years of nursery operations experience, horticultural experience is an asset
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to propose solutions that address the client’s needs
  • Highly competitive and self-motivated, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Detail-oriented and can work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Adaptable with strong multitasking abilities and effective time management skills.
  • Creative Problem-Solving abilities and proficient in project management
  • Dependable and highly value honesty, integrity, and authenticity
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
