We are currently seeking an experienced Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager to lead within our S&OP process.
About The Role
The Sales and Operations Planning Manager is a new role which will be accountable for operating and improving our Bunnings S&OP process to enhance our performance to the business plan.

As the S&OP Manager you will:

  • Lead S&OP cycles with our cross-functional teams to ensure they have valid plans optimized across the end-to-end supply chain
  • Drive best in class inventory and support our customer requirements across all channels
  • Lead changes to embed S&OP disciplines and practices across broad stakeholder areas
  • Use your deep experience and knowledge of supply chain planning to coach and guide our teams.

About You
Joining a passionate and collaborative team you are an experienced professional with extensive experience in operating and improving S&OP in a multi-channel, high volume retail or manufacturing environment.
Your experience ideally spans a broad range of product types and supply chain models. You bring an excellent knowledge of supply chain planning principles, along with an ability to link an end-to-end network view to identify gaps in data, reporting, process, capability, and business performance.
You possess exceptional planning skills and have a positive approach to driving engagement that builds trust at multiple business levels. Your exceptional stakeholder and communication skills will ensure S&OP delivers insights, outputs, projections, and commitment to effective gap closing strategies across business stakeholders.

You’ll additionally need:

  • A supply chain qualification or equivalent. APICS qualifications are highly valued.
  • Strong experience in supply chain, demand planning and supply planning roles with organisations operating a leading S&OP process.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying fundamental S&OP principles to solve problems across demand, supply, and inventory teams of end-to-end supply chains.
  • Strong financial acumen and good understanding of financial forecasting
  • Experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) at a large organisation will be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and change management experience to influence at all business levels.
  • Excellent skills to research and understand issues in performance and projections for key business metrics such as customer service and inventory health.
  • Ability to analyse data, provide insights, develop scenario plans, and generate compelling visual presentation materials.
  • Passion to improve business performance using the principles of S&OP and team member engagement.

This role will be a stand-alone individual contributor operating within a small team of broad influence across the Bunnings business.
