Description:
At Domfoam, we have been proudly selling polyurethane foam products for over 60 years. Our dynamic carpet division is currently looking for an external sales representative who will take care of our valued existing customers, explain our products to them, and who will also add other companies to our customer list.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based on their assigned territory along with building trust and acting as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Outside sales representatives should have any equivalent education that demonstrates expertise in customer engagement, marketing, business, economics, and communications.
- 5 years of experience related to the industry.
- Ability to be proactive in solving problems and in initiating conversations.
- self-starter and have a well-developed phone presence.

Responsibilities:
- Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
- Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and current customers.
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally.
- Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory.
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs.
- Work closely with the marketing department to help build the brand.
