Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Sales Support Representative / Field Technician based in Finland to build and manage customer relationships based on Syngenta’s Customer Experience principles and contribute to the success of our agricultural solutions, and actively gather and share relevant market information. You will actively pursue local market opportunities in your territory, using your market knowledge and leveraging a deep understanding of leading growers’ needs to promote Syngenta solutions & products.
This is a remote role, that could be based anywhere in Finland, ideally well-connected to the South-West. You will be part of the Nordic Sales Team and work in close collaboration with the Finnish Market Manager as well as Nordic technical and marketing teams.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Agronomics or relevant biological education, or equivalent experience.
- Experience within a similar role in the agri-business sector in Finland.
- Experience of establishing and maintaining successful business relationships, with strong negotiation skills.
- Capacity for networking internally and externally
- Solid crop management knowledge including IPM and digital support systems.
- Knowledge of Finnish agriculture market.
- Capacity to adopt understanding/knowledge of Syngenta & key competitor products.
- Self-motivating, drive and ability to work independently
- IT-literate with experience using MS Office suite
- Fluent in Finnish and professional level of English; skills in Swedish language is a bonus
- Full driving license and flexibility to travel.
Additional Information
Responsibilities:
- Understand the Finnish Agri market and find opportunities for Syngenta solutions
- Staying up to date with the latest Syngenta developments (CP, Biologicals and digital solutions) and have the ability to successfully implement profitable solutions to the market.
- Working with customer marketing, technical and Field Force colleagues across Nordics to develop solid solutions for Finnish agriculture
- Actively participating and contributing to sales and marketing campaign planning and execution including creation of campaign content.
- Developing effective sales communication tools in addition to customer marketing materials to train/educate stakeholders on new solutions, with help from eg articles, videos, webinars and SoMe activities.
- Organising and managing field trial demonstration sites and liaise with growers in support of the local sales team.
