JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

A new and exciting opportunity for the position of Sales Representative, Hernia Surgery in Italy has arisen.
Reporting to the Area Manager, Hernia Surgery, Italy, the successful candidate will be responsible for commercial strategy execution in Tuscany area in order to fully support and develop Hernia business.
They will establish and reinforce a company culture defined by commitment to customers, quality, performance, results, collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers and support existing ones with the aim to increase sales revenue and market share.
  • Daily presence in hospital operating rooms and customers sites.
  • Ability to identify all partners (KOL’s, Dr’s, nurses, admin staff) and liaise with them accordingly, towards deal close, consignment management etc.
  • Implement all Sales activity from new product introduction such as instruction and presentation to customers, to handling contract negotiations and supervising the deal until closure, in coordination with CSS
  • Develops of sales strategy of the area assigned in line with market conditions and customers needs, in coordination with CSS
  • Proactively analyses of market trends and developments, in collaboration with Marketing Dept, as well as competition
  • Performs activity reports as requested by Area Manager
  • Effectively & efficiently manages tenders and off-tenders processes.
  • ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will likely have an extended sales experience & territory management in medical device companies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, including expertise in diseases, treatments and medical procedures
  • Evidence of ability to implement strong technical knowledge of Hernia Repair products, and related procedures and indications
  • Knowledge of the regional healthcare market, including competitor activity and broad trends
  • Tactics to grow volume and market share
  • Ability to implement sales strategy and tactical plans on the field
  • Demonstrated success in developing relationships with colleagues, customers, KOLs and non clinical partners
  • Ability to handle multiple products / projects
  • Have an understanding of market dynamics and business practices in the area assigned
  • A successful track record of sales success, and consolidated relationships with consumers and key partners in Hernia business is highly valued
  • University Graduate or equivalent experience
  • Very good command of written and spoken English, Computer skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, in a dynamic environment
  • This position also requires the ability to travel in Italy and abroad if needed. Incumbent must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
