    Position Summary:
    Sales Engineer must identify new pump projects with the EPC´s as well as pump, parts and service opportunities in the Mining Market to deliver quotations, work with the Distributors to assure the attention to the customers of the area they have assigned; to organize and define priorities in the work internally for preparation of proposals that meet technical specifications and commercial requirements. In addition to follow up proposals status and visit customers and Distributors for comments and clarifications to ensure selling processes successfully.
    Must be located in the north of the country: Sonora, Monterrey , Cd Obregon, Sonora, Torreon, Zacatecas.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • To identify the selling opportunities in the market permanently ahead of time.
  • To provide technical support to EPC´s, Mining Market and Distributors.
  • To deliver proposals to the EPC´s Market with the technical and commercial requirements, taking in consideration the bid-closing dates.
  • To track and follow up the offers with our customers and Mining Distributors to know the status of each proposal and to get feedback to help us successfully conclude proposals in purchase orders.
  • To visit customers to answer questions or clarifications to our proposals, for technical and commercial concerns.
  • To require from operations technical support, delivery times and competitive multipliers, depending on industry and customer to deliver competitive proposals
  • Actively participate in conferences, lectures and trainings performed by the company
  • To participate in weekly sales meetings actively, providing specific information of active proposals and submitting all information related with proposal requirements in special all matters that requires attention from our management to win the orders
  • To keep the information of the e-quote log updated, related to all the information for company proposals (bids).
  • To prepare the kickoff meetings with customer and operations for new purchase orders
  • To participate in warranty claims according to our internal policy
  • To provide support to our credit department for collecting issues with our customers
  • To comply with official regulations and company requirements for ESH program.
  • To perform such other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor, not covered in this job description.
  • To submit the PSF document once the commercial quotation is issue to the customer according to the company policy.

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION:

Engineer with bachelor’s in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or Metallurgist
