eurOptimum is a leader in custom design and manufacturing of interior signage and display systems. We offer complete design, display and project management solutions for corporate, retail, financial, academic and hospitality clientele.
Reporting to the division VP, eurOptimum’s Sales Rep/Project Manager is responsible for hunting new clients, maintaining existing clients and managing projects from quotation and design recommendations to final installation. This is a hands-on position based out of our Toronto office, with frequent travel to various sales markets throughout the United States.
This role is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office; however, in the first few months the Sales Rep/Project Manager will find themselves spending more time in the office where they will learn the most and receive hands-on training.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST be highly organized and detail oriented;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and/or project management;
  • A college diploma or university degree (business, project management, interior design, architecture and/or technology);
  • Experience dealing with architects, designers, specifiers, and end users;
  • Experience with processes and procedures involved in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and installation teams;
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to handle competing priorities;
  • A proven track record of achievement and career growth in sales and/or project management;
  • Dynamic presentation skills;
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills;
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential;
  • Flexible/adaptable attitude with an ability to learn and thrive in a fast paced environment;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word;
  • NetSuite or other CRM knowledge is an asset;
  • Our ideal candidate will have a background in and/or extensive exposure to commercial interior design.

Responsibilities:

  • Hunt and develop new relationships with corporate clients;
  • Cultivate and maintain existing client relationships;
  • Schedule and lead lunch and learn presentations and one-on-one product demonstrations;
  • Troubleshoot existing problems and provide creative solutions to client display and signage needs;
  • Identify requirements through client meetings and/or research and observation of client locations;
  • Run full cycle sales and project management. Making yourself the one point of contact for all of your clients’ needs;
  • Build and present quotations;
  • Manage timelines and ensure project teams are working towards deadlines;
  • Schedule and manage product delivery and installation;
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
