QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 12 months minimum proven experience in sales environment
  • Proficient in managing sales pipeline using CRM systems
  • Can evidence a track record of hitting or exceeding personal targets.
  • A positive, well-motivated attitude with a strong desire to exceed
  • Conscientious, hard-working and driven to improve sales and activity performance beyond targets.
  • Competent IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM systems and LinkedIn/Sales Navigator.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Research Executive to join the team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organised and an excellent communicator who can work well within a cooperative team as well as being able to work on their own initiative. The primary focus of the role is to strategically research, identify and generate qualified leads into the sales pipeline – through negation to successful competition.
To be successful you will have previous experience of working in an outbound sales environment.

This is a permanent, full time position based in Manchester where you will be reporting into the Business Development Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new business leads, working from databases and through own research and development
  • Provide engaging information about SBFM’s value proposition to potential customers.
  • Assess and analyse a prospects current process and requirements
  • Demonstrate ability to interact professionally with potential customers via phone, email and telephone conferencing to discover and qualify their business needs
  • Maintain well organised, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity in our CRM system
  • Identify customer opportunities (nationally), develop and nurture these client relationships to identify what we can offer them to add value
  • Via a development and progression programme you will learn to take ownership of your own success through the delivery of sales excellence, with autonomy to initiate and develop opportunities & relationships
