We are currently seeing a Sales Specialist Representative to join our team in Biosimilars.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales Specialist Representatives responsible for the performance of all sales activities within an assigned territory. Field BSR resides in Atlantic Canada and territory will be Manitoba and Atlantic Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Sc. or B.A. degree required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years specialty sales experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Preference for working in a competitive market.
  • Experience in Immunology and/or Biosimilars is preferred.
  • Existing relationships with Rheumatologists, Gastroenterologists or Dermatologists in the territory is an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and handle fluctuating workloads
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

  • Represent Fresenius-Kabi’s products, services to a defined customer base and achieve the assigned sales objective for the Manitoba and Atlantic Canada territory.
  • Utilize an in–depth level of product, drug class and therapeutic disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of Fresenius-Kabi products to healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and maintain territory business plans
  • Develop an understanding of the issues and opportunities unique to each region and can present and effectively communicate recommendations to marketing and sales management.
  • Represent company at professional events and promote company products at such events.
  • Work in collaboration with Medical Affairs, Marketing and other Fresenius-Kabi team members on various cross-functional projects related to specific accounts or practitioners.
  • Work as an individual contributor. Forms, builds and extends professional business relationships with key customers or accounts.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the KabiCare patient support program (PSP)
  • Complete administrative requirements including budget management, CRM, expense reports etc. within timelines and company guidelines.
  • Operate the territory within the assigned expense budget.
  • Manage the territory in an efficient and orderly manner, ascribing to principles of key physician/account prioritization, daily call reporting, develop and execute effective business plans.
  • Complete all required training courses and continually updates market and product knowledge.
  • Adherence to the Company’s commitment to and policy on Code of Conduct
  • Maintains up-to-date training designated for this position via Plateau/Kabi LIFT Learning Management System) and other position specific training as required
