Australian Federation College (AFC), located in Melbourne CBD and Launceston, Tasmania, is a quality RTO offering a wide range of course to cater the diverse needs of its existing and prospective students. Exciting opportunities for the right candidate to join our sales and marketing team.
This is a full-time/ part-time position for the suitable candidate.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Establish a professional network with referral education and migration agencies and industry peak bodies and industry forums.
- Meeting monthly sales and performance targets.
- Identify, develop and implement creative business initiatives and opportunities within allocated budget.
- Undertake sales and marketing activities that yields quality student recruitment for the college.
- Build and maintain professional and healthy working relationships with the education agents.
- Monitor market requirements for current and future training services by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to industry sites and representatives.
- Screening agent applications, forming agent agreements, arranging their sign-off and monitoring the agent performance periodically.
- Develop, implement and monitor a marketing strategy in accordance with AFC business plan and marketing guidelines outlined within the Standards for Registered Training Organisations and Education Services for Overseas Students Act.
- Remain aware of the quality of services being delivered and the satisfaction of students and employers to inform business development activities.
- Keep informed of changes in the VET industry including changing regulatory requirements and changes to endorsed training packages.
- Perform duties in an ethical and professional manner that supports an inclusive environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.
- Stay up-to-date regarding the college and students’ obligations under ESOS Framework and other legislative requirements.
- Follow organisational policies and procedures at all times.
MANDATORY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English;
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills;
- Ability to build and maintain networks;
- Legal Australian work rights.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin/Indonesian/Tagalog/Korean/ or Japanese;
- Must have ‘can do’ attitude and unwavering commitment towards work;
