LINGUISTIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent level in English, written and spoken.
  • Fluent in Danish.
  • Swedish & other Scandinavian languages, an asset

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma combined with min. 2 years work-related experience in hospitality, transport, or tourism industry.
  • Knowledge of global distribution systems (GDS) and/or experience with Altea is a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel, as well as general IT savviness
  • On the job training for all Air Canada related used software system

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support activities via phone & emails covering Air Canada ticketing policy and procedures.
  • Groups Reservations & Ticketing assistance, Preparing sales reports and handling Refunds.
  • Assist the Sales Account Managers with updating and monitoring of commercial agreements in Nordic & Baltic region in Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Assist the Key Account Managers with promotional activities (trade shows, product training, sales events).
  • Assist sales occasionally with various sales-related duties (benchmarking, sales statistics & analysis, etc.), if need be.
  • Handle daily group business for the Nordic & Baltic markets.
  • Manage dedicated group sales mailbox, sales phone calls and GDS queues.
  • Promote, price quote, contract and execute group offers to the travel trade in close cooperation with our Sales and Revenue Management department.
  • Miscellaneous office duties, as required.
  • Support other markets in the Regional Manager Sales’ portfolio if required.
  • Actual duties and responsibilities may include any or all of the functional duties & responsibilities listed above plus any other related tasks as assigned by the employee’s superior.
