As a Sales Support Office Renewable Energy you will also need:

  • a master degree or equivalent by experience
  • at least 3 years experience in a sales function in a business environment
  • experience in renewable energy is an asset
  • strong analytical skills
  • excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and in French, good oral and written skills in English

YOUR ROLE & WORK ENVIRONMENT

By financing solar,wind energy and other sustainable projects ING Lease is an important contributor to the transition to sustainable energy.
As Sales Support Officer you will support the business and the internal point of contact on behalf of ING Lease for all matters relating to sustainability and renewable energy projects and ING Leaserelated customer portfolio,. And play an active role in the commercial activities for new business and existing portfolio
You create visibility for the customer in the commercial and contractual process. You contribute to the growth in production and profitability, while respecting the strategy and guidelines of ING Lease. You report to the Head of Real Estate Lease and Renewable Energy.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You have an active role in the Renewable/Sustainable commercial activities for the new business and existing portfolio by :
  • Preparing quotes for our customers and prospects,
  • Review of customer Request for Proposal
  • Support the commercial activities and contribute to project assessment and credit pack preparation (new business and existing portfolio)
  • Be the internal contact person for colleagues from ING Lease and ING BE - Business Banking
  • You are in contact with customers for obtaining all information needed for quotation, approval and contractual phase, you contribute to coordination of the EtE process with the Squad members in order to ensure a smooth execution of the deal by:
  • having prospect/client contacts
  • analyzing and evaluating the customer’s needs
  • translating them in an attractive ING Lease proposal
  • assessing and valuating projects
  • preparing the file for the contractual phase.
  • You organize the link between Sales and Sales Enablement Team and connects with Legal when applicable in order to prepare contractual documentation
  • You are at ease with a complex calculation (strong knowledge of financial algebra and Excel tool)
  • You will become alternate of the Account Manager Renewable .
  • You will support Real estate sales team with eco-renovation proposals.
  • You build expertise in the continuous evolution of the sustainable, circular economy and specialized leasing matters and interest in developing technical, legal, and contractual knowledge
