A Big Ass Sales Support Representative is responsible for enhancing client relationships with Channel Partners and key stakeholders within the New Construction vertical. In this position, you are playing a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue growth objectives while growing BAF’s market share. Candidates must have the ability to develop a technical understanding of Big Ass Fans’ products and capabilities and effectively communicate to BAF New Construction Channel Partners, Engineers, Architects, Designers, and Contractors. This individual will collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers, Commercial Leadership, Engineering, Product Management, Planning, Customer Service, and Manufacturing in order to provide customer support through the entire sales process.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years proven sales and account management experience. Experience with channel partners and new construction preferred
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts at a time, while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Travel required up to 15%

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with New Construction-related stakeholders in non-partner territories to establish long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs, provide recommendations, and result in a mutually successful outcome.
  • Proactively identify New Construction growth opportunities and handle/assign as needed.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Provide support to RSM’s for partner territories including product support, lead identification and assigning, quoting, and partner/contractor training.
  • Field inbound leads, enter into CRM and assign/handle next steps as applicable.
  • Develop timely and accurate forecasts in collaboration with operations and analytics; update to reflect customer performance.
  • Provide field analysis on industry trends, competitive activity, and general marketplace activity and make recommendations to drive spec rates and market share.
  • Coordinate and participate in trade shows and other events aimed at increasing buyer awareness and knowledge of products.
  • Manage and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts/territories.
  • Practice Commercial Excellence by managing a growing opportunity pipeline focusing on driving spec and close rates.
  • Build proposals for quotation in CRM as well as maintain a cleaning and growing pipeline for non-partner geographies
  • Input customer orders, as needed to support Sales OPS.
  • Support partner and contractor accounts through various account nurturing programs such as training on products, troubleshooting, and BAF systems.
  • Participate and help coordinate customer visits and partner meetings.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
