Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to: Sales Support Supervisor / Sales Support Manager (Dotted line reporting to the respective State Manager)
Employment Type: 12-Month Fixed Term, Full-Time, Maternity Leave Cover
Work Location: WFH + Port Adelaide, SA
As Sales Support Representative, you will be responsible for implementing sales support services to achieve KPIs for ANL & CMA CGM, managing a national customer portfolio, assisting inter-state teams, supporting sales executives with administrative tasks and reporting, and promoting digital tools and non-maritime services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

Provide timely sales support services to a dedicated customer portfolio within set KPIs, under the direction of the Sales Support Supervisor or Manager, regardless of the customers’ state locations
Monitor quotes sent & update opportunities
Monitor mailbox activity for each assigned list of customers plus team mail if required
Ensure all rates are filed in the applicable systems
Establish and maintain sales opportunities of customers utilizing ANL & CMA CGM Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) tool
Develop and maintain interactions with ANL & CMA CGM Liner commercial departments, Operations, and other key departments to promote inter-team cooperation
Support the promotion of additional services such as e-Business solutions, value-added services, project cargo, intermodal services, and cross-selling

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

Previous experience of minimum 1-2 years in the shipping or related industry, preferably in a sales or customer service role
Proficiency in computer skills especially in Microsoft Suite tools
Good communication skills; both written and verbal
Self-motivated with ability to plan and co-ordinate workflows and performance effectively and without supervision
Commercial and customer-oriented approach
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have full work rights in Australia for the entire duration of the contract.
