Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Sales Support specialist to join our team in software organization located in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will be assisting the sales team to achieve their targets, managing customer accounts, and providing administrative support. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide necessary administrative support to the sales team to aid in achieving their targets.
  • Utilize Salesforce platform for creating and maintaining customer databases, generating reports, tracking sales metrics, and managing customer accounts.
  • Coordinate and assist in the creation of sales presentations and proposals, and develop strategies to boost sales and growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, accounting, and shipping departments on sales orders, deliveries, and product availability.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, or in-person.
  • Assist with customer relationship management activities and strategies using the Salesforce platform.
  • Prepare and maintain sales contracts and other sales-related documents.
  • Assist in budgeting, planning, and sales forecast activities.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on Salesforce to enhance the sales team’s knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CRM systems, particularly the Salesforce platform
  • Experience in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong auditing skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in handling billing functions, including invoicing and payment processing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in sales support roles within the high tech engineering industry
  • Administrative assistance skills, including scheduling, data entry, and document management
  • Prior administrative experience, ideally within a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment
  • Experience in administrative office roles, with a focus on organization and efficiency
  • Knowledge and experience in contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts.
