We are now looking for an enthusiastic Sales Support Engineer to join our skilled Shaft Line Solutions (SLS), Europe and Africa (EUAF) Sales team.
You will be responsible for Sales Support functions for Commercial and Naval marine business in Nordics area (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland and Switzerland).
This position reports to SLS EUAF Sales Support Manager, and are preferably located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Sales Support Engineer, will be active member in our SLS EUAF Sales Team and working together with SLS Nordics Sales team, Sales Support team, SLS Sites and Field Services teams to ensure first class customer experience. You will be responsible for Sales Support Engineer functions for commercial and naval marine business in Nordics area (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland and Switzerland).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Generate customer specific solutions, specifications and quotations according to needs of Sales, for SLS portfolio for New Build and Aftermarket business
  • Bid management
  • Evaluate inquires and register/maintain opportunity information in CRM
  • Configure solution according to defined needs
  • Preparing cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets
  • Evaluate technical and environmental risks of the solution.
  • Ensure that response time for sales inquiries / request /orders are met.
  • Perform technical assistance to Sales and customers.
  • Participate in relevant sales meetings with customers when required.
  • Publishing sales materials
  • Organise a hand over meeting with involved parties

THE BELOW WILL ENABLE YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • You are passionate about Marine Industry, preferably with advanced experience
  • Technical and/or sales degree is preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in international business environment
  • Self-driven with continuous learning ability
  • Customer orientation and willing to travel to meet customers when requested
  • Proficient negotiation skills are an advantage
  • Marine propulsion product & system knowledge is a plus
  • Familiar with using of Microsoft WORD/ EXCEL/ PPT/ CRM / AUTOCAD / SAP
  • Fluent in Swedish and English language
