REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience of providing sales administration
  • Previous management experience
  • Management and motivational skills experience
  • Ability to analyse problems and identify solutions using Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to manage customer (internal and external) relationships

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

To manage and lead a driven Sales Support team that provides a high-level support service to the ENGIE Sales Team and Account Managers. To ensure that a high level of service is maintained at all times and to positively and pro-actively contribute towards sales targets. To drive performance within the team, with robust metrics to measure effectiveness. To support the implementation of sales automation whilst representing the team within the rest of the business. To identify, manage and drive improvements within Sales Support processes, core business systems and projects. To support the Sales Team to focus on sales and providing a customer centric approach ensuring the team remains proactive and responsive to internal and external customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day to day personnel management of a large Sales Support team including supporting the team with PDP development and training.
  • Matching resource allocation to the changing requirements of the sales teams to maximise commercial opportunity and manage workloads across multiple systems based on business requirements
  • Ensuring processes are robust and fit for purpose.
  • Ensuring all members of Sales Support are trained to complete work to a very high standard under very tight deadlines
  • Ensure all data used to input into systems is both complete and of appropriate quality “right first time” while meeting required turn-around times consistently throughout the year
  • Defining, setting and managing quality standards within the team to ensure the expectations of both internal and external customers are met
  • To manage and administer the HH, NHH and Gas Matrices (including improvements to these)
  • To work with the Sales Managers to ensure good working relationships between Sales Support and the Sales Teams
  • To engage with Channel partners to support stated sales ambitions
  • To drive sales automation to annual sales targets
  • To provide robust reporting across all Sales Support activities
  • To maintain effective communication across other departments, including involvement in wider Project Groups where Sales representation and action is required
  • To ensure Company people management processes are well applied
  • To ensure the wider business is aware of the Sales Support, the team members and its function within the Sales operation
