We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Team Leader to oversee and drive the performance of our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills to lead a team of sales representatives toward achieving individual and group sales targets. The Sales Team Leader will implement strategies to improve performance and contribute to the company’s growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Proven experience with direct sales as a Sales Team Leader, Sales Manager, or a similar role.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, review progress, and share best practices.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
- Sales Performance and Strategy Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on team progress.
- Identify sales opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
- Training and Development
- Facilitate training sessions to ensure the team is knowledgeable about products, services, and effective sales techniques.
- Identify skill gaps and develop improvement plans for team members.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Foster strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer issues and concerns are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Operational Efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments (marketing, operations) to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes.
