We are looking for a confident and effective Sales Team Leader to join our busy Sales and Estimating Team operating at our offices in Eaton Socon, St. Neots.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience in glazing / construction or a similar industry.
  • Proven experience in a proactive, customer orientated sales or estimating environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High competency level with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Outgoing personality, enjoys speaking to customers on the phone and able to build excellent relationships
  • Pro-active and able to set and monitor own workload where needed
  • Ability to prioritise and deal with pressure
  • Motivated by targets; able to evidence experience of consistently meeting and exceeding KPIs
  • Ability to multi-task and work within a busy environment without losing focus.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Commercially minded.
  • Previous experience of working well in a team and supporting others

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of the sales team by example, providing regular guidance, feedback and support to motivate and ensure high performance of the sales team.
  • Managing own workload and that of the sales team, delegating responsibility and authority as required within the department.
  • Agreeing departmental and individual sales and gross margin targets with the Managing Director.
  • Implement and report progress of sales plans that will achieve the expected business growth results in terms of turnover and profit from new and existing customers.
  • Work with the Managing Director to agree the pricing strategy.
  • Maintenance of a strong sales pipeline to ensure we take full advantage of business opportunities.
  • Building the sales team capabilities by ensuring correct application of company processes and policies.
  • Coordination and management of Monthly Sales Meetings and weekly team briefings.
  • Provision of in-depth customer technical support on full range of Roofglaze products.
