Description:
The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position Salesforce Application Engineer. Successful candidates will join a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1000 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.
We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our Software Engineering Chapter and support the development of software solutions throughout their lifecycle.
As an Application Engineer, you will work closely with business partners to understand their requirements and develop solutions that enhance business workflows. You will also configure applications, test solutions to meet business needs, and leverage on applicable technologies to automate and modernize processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business partners to gather requirements and understand system capabilities.
- Configure application software to meet business needs or resolve process gaps.
- Develop technical expertise in code analysis, low code development, security, continuous integration, and automation.
- Design and implement custom or complex solutions in collaboration with developers.
- Devise, execute, and analyze system tests to verify solutions’ effectiveness.
- Oversee the deployment of solutions to production environments.
The selected candidate will be assigned as an Application Engineer to the Sales & Product Management platform, under the Trading product line, based on the following qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Salesforce Platform App Builder and Admin Certified
- SAFe Agile Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fundamental knowledge in the Supply & Trading business
- Skills in Power Apps, API, Azure DevOps, Change Management are a plus
