SALESFORCE BUSINESS ANALYST

Sikich LLP is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Business Analyst to join our Salesforce Implementation Team. In this client-facing role as a Business Analyst, you will be the key liaison between our business units and IT teams, ensuring that our Salesforce implementation aligns with business objectives and enhances operational efficiency.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives. Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather comprehensive business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Identify gaps between current processes and Salesforce capabilities, recommending improvements and customizations
• Develop Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability.
• Knowledge on Salesforce features including custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, process builder, and Lightning components.
• Participate in the testing and validation of delivered solutions, ensuring they meet the defined requirements and quality standards
• Support business process re-engineering efforts to configure the system to meet new government initiatives
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of Salesforce solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to Salesforce users, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain user manuals, FAQs, and support documentation.
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?

• BA/BS Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a professional services or consulting firm as a Business Analyst or Consultant, working with Salesforce
• Experience working with a development team, end users, and provide leadership/mentoring to other analysts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience gathering and writing requirements
• Ability to perform test user functionality
• Subject matter expert (SME) with Salesforce and system integrations
• Experience using Scrum methodology to manage project workflow and requirements
• Experience with Agile tools to manage workload, such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.
