Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Salesforce Platform Developer, you will be a key member of our consulting team and will work closely with our business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions that drive business value and improve user experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Collaborate closely with the Salesforce Lead Developer to understand client requirements and devise solutions that effectively address them.
  • Ensure the developed solution is implemented in an efficient, scalable, secure, and maintainable manner.
  • Utilize tools such as SFDX, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and adhere to the Salesforce development lifecycle for system development.
  • Employ custom coding languages including Apex, Aura, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web components to create tailored solutions.
  • Employ declarative development techniques using OmniStudio and Flows.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing on all custom code crafted by the developer.
  • Facilitate seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems.
  • Potentially undertake data migrations from other systems to Salesforce or from one Salesforce instance to another.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for code and solutions, including technical specifications.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues related to implemented solutions.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience as a developer responsible for analyzing complex problems, proposing alternative solutions, and breaking down into workable tasks.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Apex, Java, Javascript, as well as LWC and the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
  • Experience developing (and/or development certifications) for a CRM platform.
  • Experience in Salesforce declarative development tools such as process builder, workflow rules and Flows.
  • Experience with Salesforce Translation Workbench and multi-lingual implementations.
  • Experience using Agile tools such as Scrumworks, Jira, Git, Copado, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce OmniScript.
  • Development experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
