Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Tech, the Salesforce Lead Architect will deliver value for Dojo through the use of Salesforce technologies to support Dojo’s Business and IT strategies. Salesforce has been chosen as a key technology partner by Dojo, enabling the business to scale within existing geographies and new ones.
The Salesforce Lead Architect will be the primary liaison for Salesforce technology within Dojo. They will have overall responsibility for the Salesforce platform across the organisation, providing technical leadership, governance, and strategic advice. They will also ensure platform availability, delivery excellence, and effective vendor management.
The Salesforce Lead Architect must ensure clear communication with various stakeholders, working with business stakeholders, engineering leads, and developers to ensure a coordinated approach to Salesforce platform architecture. This coordination will ensure that strategic choices are made with consideration for everyone’s deliverables when making cross-platform decisions and coordinating delivery.
The Salesforce Lead Architect is responsible for delivery excellence on the Salesforce platform. They will ensure that all relevant tools from the Salesforce ecosystem are available and that only the correct tools and partners are used strategically across all of Dojo’s Salesforce implementations.
The Salesforce Lead Architect will also facilitate knowledge sharing, enablement, and training support for Dojo teams. They will work with relevant teams to help define career paths, measure the adoption of Salesforce, and provide support and guidance on how to increase this adoption.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Engage in strategic planning with business and IT stakeholders to provide direction, guidance, and recommendations on technology and architectural considerations.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on how Salesforce can help Dojo achieve its key initiatives and drive value to the business.
- Create and govern a framework for performing delivery and design assurance for Salesforce workstreams.
- Establish a documented methodology, including processes, templates, tools, and best practices, for Salesforce solutions and service offerings.
- Champion Salesforce knowledge within the company and help develop career paths for individuals needing or wanting to develop their Salesforce expertise.
- Ensure high-quality support is provided for all Salesforce-delivered solutions post-implementation.
- Develop Dojo’s internal capabilities on Salesforce development to ensure strong internal management of the Salesforce platform.
- Work with Salesforce teams to ensure visibility to product roadmaps and future offerings that are relevant to Dojo.
- Become a key leader within Enterprise Technology, supporting wider enterprise architecture and knowledge.
