JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated, responsible and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our stylists and enhance the overall customer experience within our salon. As a Salon Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, assisting with various salon tasks, and ensuring that clients receive exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the beauty industry while developing their customer service and salon management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong communication and professional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining upmost attention to detail.
• Experience in front desk operations or retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hair styling & techniques is an asset.
• Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards in the salon environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship
  Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
  Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

• Greet clients upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Assist stylists with hair styling tasks, including washing, drying, and preparing clients for services.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the salon by sanitizing tools and workstations regularly.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth salon operations.
• Light inventory management and restocking.
