JOB SUMMARY

At Marco Stefano Salon, we are seeking a hardworking team member who can take initiative. someone that has excellent time management skills and is capable of multitasking and prioritizing. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and energetic individual that is willing to learn and grow within our salon-someone who is interested in becoming a stylist one day and who loves the beauty industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

• PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in salons or beauty industry preferred
• Knowledge of hair styling techniques
• Ability to sanitize tools and work areas effectively
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 27 – 28 per week

• Greet clients and assist with check-ins and check-outs
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and needs
• Assist stylists with shampooing, glossing, treatment application and preparing clients for hair services
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of salon tools, stations, and common areas
• Support retail sales by promoting and upselling salon products
• Assist in keeping inventory of salon supplies and retail products
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff to ensure a smooth salon operation
