WHAT WE DO.
This particular role is at our Bakkavor Meals London. Split across 3 factories and 1 distribution centre. The factories make chilled ready meals, houmous dips, deli products & savoury accompaniments and employs over 2,000 people.
Responsibilities:
THIS ROLE INVOLVES SAMPLING/TASTING ALL MEAT PRODUCTS INCLUDING LAMB, BEEF, CHICKEN PORK, CRUSTACEANS AND FISH.
Salary £26,000 + £2,000 (night allowance)
Based in London (NW10 7SY)
Monday to Friday 5pm - 1.00am

ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a sample coordinator to join our Bakkavor Meals London team. The successful candidate will collate, record and trend production samples for nutritional and microbiological analysis. Attention to detail coupled with a keen analytical mind and computer literacy is key for this role and full training will be provided.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Logging on ALS, labelling and preparing food production samples for daily microbiological testing.
- Managing and preparing and logging product and swab samples for weekly/monthly pathogen testing as per schedule.
- Logging, labelling and preparing samples for routine nutritional testing as per schedule and follow up on failures for retesting.
- Assisting the technical team on the tracking and trending of results.
- Completing taste panels for all the products produced daily against QAS and monthly for end of life products.
- Other tasks given by the Quality Manager
