Celtest is a well-established materials testing company based in Bangor, operating since 1980. We take pride in delivering high-quality testing services to a wide range of industries, and we are looking for a dedicated Sample Receipts Technician to join our growing team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Physically capable of handling and moving samples safely

DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL):

  • Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (training may be provided if required)

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Sample Receipts Technician at Celtest, you will play a key role in the efficient and accurate processing of incoming samples. You will ensure that samples are booked in accordance with our quality management system (QMS), prepared, and distributed to the laboratory in a timely manner. The role also involves manual handling, and you must have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Book in incoming samples in accordance with our quality management system (QMS)
  • Prepare samples for laboratory testing and distribute them accordingly
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping of sample details
  • Perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with the laboratory team to meet operational requirements
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the sample preparation area
