Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Sample Reception Technician / Subcontract Technician to join our team and manage the subcontracting journey from the initial query point of sale through to testing completion, with the assistance of Customer Services confirming invoicing is complete and commercially sensible.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 9 am- 5 pm

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Accurately follow standard operating procedures for the registration, subcontracting and transferring of samples between sites.
  • Act as a technical support to outsource pricing and testing requirements with subcontracting laboratories.
  • Preparing POs via Oracle and updating the PO tracker
  • Liaising with Sales to ensure they are aware of updated / new pricing for subcontractors.
  • Liaising with Procurement to ensure that once price increases are implemented, Oracle is updated to reflect these changes on the product catalogues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • GCSE grade A to C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Numerate with good written English – both essential
  • Customer Service orientated and committed to providing an outstanding level of service to all
  • Have good IT skills, including competent use of Microsoft use of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience in operations / productions or a closely related role.
