We are currently seeking a highly organized individual with exceptional attention to detail to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate must have reliable transportation, as our current warehouse location is not accessible via public transit.

SKILLS REQUIRED – TECHNICAL

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and warehouse management software.
  • Ability to learn and operate basic warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).

SKILLS REQUIRED – NON-TECHNICAL

  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Reliable and hardworking with a commitment to quality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or packaging role, particularly in handling product samples, is an asset.
  • Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE

The Sample Specialist is essential in ensuring the preparation and distribution of flooring samples align with company standards. This role involves creating and managing standardized sample documents, keeping up with workflows, ensuring timely order completion, and training team members. Additionally, the successful candidate will help with inventory and perform light computer tasks using our operating systems and email.
