ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Drives the daily sanitation process aligning to Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Supports daily internal sanitation tasks and external tasks such as SAR cleanings, inter-dept sanitation requests, and overall SQF inspections.
• Helps manage sanitation operations to maintain the highest audit and inspection ratings.
• Interacts with third-party auditors for Food Safety audits within the plant.
• Motivates and develops sanitation personnel to achieve outstanding sanitation results.
• Coordinates the completion of all required sanitation maintenance by the master sanitation schedule and/or end-of-week sanitation activities.
• Trains sanitation personnel in best practices, safety, to understand SDS information and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Assists with directing staff to include discretionary authority to determine work methods; help plan, assign, and direct the work.
• Develops, implements, and manages all monitoring forms, records, and documentation to comply with all requirements.
• Assumes Sanitation Department Lead functions when the regular Department Lead is on leave/vacation.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum level of education required

• High School Diploma or GED

Minimum number of year(s) of experience required in addition to education plus type(s) of functional experience

• 4 years of experience engaging in janitorial/ sanitation functions in a manufacturing environment.

Other required type(s) of functional experience (e.g. Production/Operations, Accounting, Forklift Operator, Inventory Control, etc.)

• BDG Sanitation A and Sanitation B experience.
• Required to complete the assessment test to be considered for Sanitation C opening.

Total minimum number of years of experience required in lieu of degree (if applicable)
