Description:

Our Organization Prime Health Ltd is a fastest growing NNHP (Natural and Non-prescription Health Product) manufacturing company based in Maple Ridge, BC having presence in North America, Asia, Middle East and Latin American countries. We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for Sanitation Technician who can contribute in the following activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain records of activities as instructed.
  • Ability to follow instruction with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices is an asset

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in sanitation practices is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in nutraceuticals, food, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Knowledge of GMP and SOPs
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50lbs, and work in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing equipment, production rooms, and common areas following GMP standards.
  • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with GMP and SOPs.
  • Use approved cleaning agents, tools, and procedures to sanitize equipment and production areas.
  • Document cleaning activities and complete cleaning logs accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Production Manager.
  • Conduct regular deep cleaning of production lines, including surfaces, floors, and equipment, to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime during cleaning activities.

Standards and Expectations:

  • Follow all Environmental Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members, modelling positive team principles and partnering to meet project and departmental objectives.
  • Carry out all duties within strict compliance to Patheon quality systems SOP’s and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Maintain workspace in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Actively engage in and adhere to departmental systems in order to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow (visual management, scheduling systems, etc.).
  • Model positive thinking and is open to change, motivating the team to adapt to shifts in priorities and new ways of working.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in the execution of procedures.
  • Communicate risks to timelines in a proactive manner.
  • Consistently strive to improve skills and knowledge in related field.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires ordinary physical coordination sufficient to move about manufacturing/office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of up to 50 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity; visual acuity to operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time. Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, loud noise, bright lights, fumes or odour. Use of Personal Protective equipment is required and may include any of the following: safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, gloves, hair net, beard cover, safety apron, respirator.
