Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of Fortune 100/500/1000 and other companies in Canada/US. We are currently seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP - EWM Technical Consultant to join our clients local team in Toronto, ON on a long term contract basis.
Role(s) Required: SAP ABAP - EWM Technical Consultant
Location: Hybrid - 10-20% in office/client sites, rest of time remote
Required Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract
Rate: Open based on expectations
Duration: Until Dec 31, 2024 - role will be extended again in the new year for approximately 1 year
As an SAP ABAP - EWM Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions for our clients using SAPs Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) language and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will also be responsible for customizing and enhancing existing SAP systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using SAP ABAP and EWM
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Customize and enhance existing SAP systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP and EWM technologies and trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
• Experience with SAP EWM module
• Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP programming language and development tools
• Experience with SAP EWM enhancements and customizations
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role is preferred
• SAP ABAP certification is a plus
