Are you interested in spearheading and supporting transformation programs for our clients? Have you run S/4 transformation programs in a leading role for clean core and BTP initiatives? Our clients are multinational companies, who are at the beginning of their S/4 transformation journey and who are seeking for advice. Together with you as the spearhead for the custom development area, we define with our clients the right transformation strategy, roadmap, and guardrails. During the template definition you ensure the value realisation in terms of custom application, requirements engineering and guide our clients. We are offering end-to-end delivery to our clients, to ensure that our process designs will be deployed and prove their benefits.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in all the different BTP components (including Kubernetes), their individual strengths and benefits when it comes to technology decisions
• Experience in the requirements specification and gathering with at least one SAP domain area (ideally SAP SD or SAP PP) and a sense of process knowledge and understanding
• Long lasting experience in object-oriented modelling (including ABAP Objects and SAPUI5) using tools like UML modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Experience in specification of interfaces and their development using the SAP Cloud Process Integration and SAP Integration Suite
• Experience in a data domain modelling (creating and designing database views), including knowledge about SAP CDS views, their specific modelling, exposing of CDS views by OData Services, code pushdown by ADMP
• Proven track record in the specification and modelling of software architectures of custom-defined applications/add-ons with significant development volume (> 500 Person Days of development effort per custom code application or component)
• Proven hands-on knowledge in all development tools (Eclipse, BTP, Git, Dependency Management) as well as CI/CD and build pipelines
• Knowledge about Test Management integrations on functional tests (e.g. JUnit, ABAPUnit)
• Good understanding of delivery methodologies (waterfall, hybrid, agile, DevOps)
• Experience in working with a global team and leading and guiding offshore colleagues
• Good process knowledge in manufacturing industry or consumer goods industry
• Can-do attitude
• You are confident to discuss with the client different options and process variations and provide guidance
• You have good analytical skills, a good ability to summarize different options and to provide guidance
• Proficiency to talk to our clients on various levels (C-Levels, Business Process Owners)
• Stakeholder management in complex environments
• Autonomy, team spirit, the ability to listen and adapt, curiosity and a sense of service are all essential in this position
• English fluency is mandatory

We are looking for an SAP BTP architect, who is keen on driving new custom-developed applications and solutions (often associated with an S/4 transformation) to our clients in an international environment. You will work with our clients in the template design phase to capture the requirements, guide and lead your team, which will consist of consultants both onshore and offshore. During the design phase you will ensure that the design items do meet the expectations of the client and will bring the expected benefits. After the successful design and sign-off you will ensure successful delivery including go-live. On some projects, an international industrialized rollout where you will play the role of guardian for the design template might follow.
