BAER IS LOOKING FOR AN EWM CONSULTANT FOR A 6+ MONTH PROJECT LOCATED IN TORONTO, CANADA.

Title: EWM Consultant
Location: Hybrid - Toronto, Canada - partial onsite (10%)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: C2C

DESCRIPTION:

• Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to understand current business processes, identify challenges, and propose SAP EWM solutions that align with business goals.
• Conduct detailed fit-gap analysis between the organization’s current warehouse management processes and SAP EWM capabilities to identify areas for improvement and necessary customizations.
• Develop comprehensive business design documents that outline the solution architecture, detailed functional specifications, and business process flows.
• Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) by providing regular updates on timelines, risks, issues, and overall task progress. Maintain open communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the development team to create detailed functional specifications for any required customizations, interfaces, or integrations to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
• Guide the customer through various testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Address any issues, provide feedback, and ensure the system is functioning as expected.
• Assist in planning and executing the cutover to the new SAP EWM system, ensuring a smooth transition for end-users. Provide hypercare support post-go-live to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation projects.
• Strong experience in leading design workshops, conducting fit-gap analysis, and creating business design documentation.
• Proven ability to work closely with project management and development teams to deliver SAP solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM modules and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD).
• Experience in managing the testing phases and supporting post-go-live activities (cutover, hypercare).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred.
