SAP Finance Systems Manager - Contract - London - Hybrid
Role Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Systems Manager to lead the finance systems project portfolio for one of our clients. This pivotal role is crucial for driving the discovery, development, and delivery of innovative programs and enhancements that meet the evolving needs of the finance leadership community. You will play a key role in shaping the future of their financial systems, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver exceptional value to stakeholders.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence finance directors.
• Proven track record in leading/ managing large-scale strategic engagements and business transformation projects.
• Broad understanding of finance processes and technical knowledge of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Power BI).
• Extensive experience with SAP (FICO, SD, PP, MM, BW…) and other financial systems.
• Full/part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/AAT equivalent).

• Lead a geographically dispersed team to deliver technology projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure resource availability and manage project time-lines, costs, and financial treatments.
• Drive consistency, standardisation, and reuse across projects.
• Provide technical and business leadership to achieve road-map visions.
• Support Finance Business Partners in preparing business cases for new initiatives.
• Enforce standard IS/IT methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Identify and propose solutions that align with business needs and future strategies.
