SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• A degree in computer science, commerce, business or related preferred.
• Advanced level formal training, in analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Ideally a minimum of 5-7 years industry experience in either a functional specialist, business analysis, systems analysis, or business process analysis role.
• Advanced level of application configuration knowledge of at least one module or function with relevant experience in multiple module or function integration. Or advanced understanding of methodologies and how this activity relates to business systems designs and implementation preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of standard business processes would be an advantage, especially in financial processes and functions.
• SAP Certifications preferred.

The salary for this position is $115,000 - $120,0000 per annum

We are on the lookout for an experience SAP professional who is a Specialist in Finance. This roles is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week) role based in Christchurch. The key focus of this role is to provide technical analysis, solution delivery, and support, working closely with the Finance team, and other internal stakeholders. You will work with the business to understand their needs, analyse business requirements and processes, and translate that into solution delivery. This is an important Information Services role to support Synlait take SAP finance to the next level in a technically current SAP (S/4Hana) environment.

Key responsibilities of this role include..

• The key focus of this role is to provide technical solution analysis and product development for new and existing SAP solutions related to SAP Finance / FICO. The role will work closely with the Architects, technical leads, and external partners to evaluate the technical feasibility of SAP solution options.
• The role will also work with the Synlait’s business units and other internal clients to understand business needs, analyse business requirements and processes. The role will propose solution recommendations based upon the alignment with the SAP ERP strategy and architecture and then the subsequent implementation of those technical solutions
• Ensure that the Synlait SAP application landscape supports Synlait’s operational goals and is developed to meet Synlait’s strategic goals.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level application support to the business units and teams within Synlait
