WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

You are studying Computer Science or Engineering and have the following background:

• 8+ months of prior work experience developing web applications
• A solid foundation of Java, JavaScript, Python, HTTP, restful APIs, and web microservices
• Cloud-native development technologies and experience on AWS, Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
• Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms and principles of OO design
• Understanding of web application servers and databases
• Experience working on a team and independently
• A positive self-motivated can-do attitude

Location: Vancouver, BC
Expected Start Date: 6 January 2025
Contract Duration: 8 months
Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

This role is part of the SAP Analytics Cloud application gateway team where we work with the latest cloud and networking technologies, such as Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, SAML SSO, OAuth, Open ID Connect, mTLS, etc. We contribute to SAP Analytics Cloud’s success by producing software services and API’s that are resilient and scalable.
You will work on improvements to our testing and observability frameworks, and to our core microservices. Your work will improve the quality of our software and our automation and will advance our ongoing AI exploration.
