Responsibilities:

SAP Concur is looking for a motivated and data-driven Marketing Strategist Director to drive the Marketing Analytics and Insights Strategy function cross-functionally, working within the Global Performance & Strategy team to help the business units build a predictable, efficient, scalable growth engine. This role will be focused on enhancing efficiency and success while driving the ongoing performance evolution of SAP Concur marketing, working collectively with team members to deliver marketing data and insights to support decisions around demand generation, pipeline management, market segmentation, and program execution.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate the deepest level of Marketing Analytics Strategy expertise, ensuring understanding, trust, and cooperation through effective communication and data storytelling
  • Act as a team champion across the business, partnering with global and Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) Marketing leaders to ensure that the team roadmap best supports business priorities, aligns with industry best practices, and is attainable based upon team strengths and capacity.
  • Build and/or partner in the creation of dashboards to help answer specific business questions, working simultaneously with multiple global teams to ensure data accuracy and surface data trends that give Marketing leaders the insight they need to make informed decisions.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of internal datasets to help optimize marketing efforts throughout the customer lifecycle. This would include, but not be limited to, providing, and presenting actionable insights to drive engagement, pipeline, and revenue to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-channel analysis and impact across marketing efforts (i.e. attribution modeling): provide analysis on tactics, activity, frequency, behaviors and recommendations for enhanced buying experience and channel efficiency and ROI.
  • Drive scoping, documentation and training for marketing processes, definitions, and best practices. This will include creating analyses to help answer key marketing questions, as well as identifying and presenting these insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing Intelligence, Technology and Automation teams on reporting, technology evaluation, database segmentation, data cleanliness and integrity and process change impact.
