QUALITY & TESTING TEAM LEAD - LISBON

Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for a Quality & Testing Team Lead in DevOps Platform join one of the world’s most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.
Our Client is the owner of prestigious Maisons distinguished by their craftsmanship, creativity, and technological innovation. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Five years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least three years in a leadership or management role, including expertise in roadmap product definition, timesheet management, and agile methodology.
Demonstrable experience in leading engineering teams, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a team of engineers.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
Significant business acumen, enabling you to connect business goals with engineering solutions while being mindful of cost management.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Proficiency in modern cloud architecture paradigms (e.g., microservices, serverless) and all aspects of DevOps (from methodological aspects of DevOps to technical elements such as CI/CD, containerization, and automation).
Very deep knowledge with SAP environment and modules, both as applications and with testing capabilities.
Experience with test automation tools like Tosca, Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
Proven experience working with Cloud and DevOps delivery initiatives and related cloud technologies & methodologies (agile).
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, with hands-on experience in test automation.
Proficiency in using agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar. - Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and scripting languages for test automation.
Proficiency in English is required; and in French is a plus.

Taking a leading delivery role in customer and client engagements, serving as our primary point of contact for quality and testing products. You will be expected to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives and participate in pre-sales solutions activities.
Collaborate closely with our clients and Deployment Services to ensure the delivery of our existing services that align with their requirements, all while effectively managing costs.
Leading a team of skilled engineers and guiding them in delivering efficient quality and testing capabilities transversally under our product and service catalog.
Thinking fast and adapting to rapidly changing client needs, ensuring our services remain relevant to their evolving goals, and making the most of agile methodologies.
Bridging the gap between client business needs and technical requirements, developing strategies that address both.
Contributing to creating and offering the best Cloud and DevOps Services (people, process, and technology) for our customers.
Maintaining a client-centric focus, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and success with our products.
Developing and implementing testing strategies, plans, and procedures.
Defining testing standards and ensuring adherence to best practices
Conducting functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in testing and quality products and capabilities.
