YOUR PROFILE

We are seeking an experienced SAS Upgrade Architect to lead and design the migration of SAS 9.4 on-premises platforms to SAS Viya on the Cloud. The role involves the following key responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design of the SAS upgrade/replat forming, focusing on the Bank’s infrastructure and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with SAS as they lead the move to their Viya hosted managed service, ensuring seamless alignment with the Bank’s systems.
• Analyse the current SAS 9.4 environment, oversee/ develop migration strategies, and oversee their implementation.
• Oversee SAS Design for scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures tailored to business objectives.
• Create Bank Solution Architecture Artefacts based on the Application and platform Designs.
• Review or configure and optimize cloud environments to support SAS Viya workflows by SAS.

YOUR ROLE

• This role requires strong expertise in SAS architecture, cloud platforms, and migration methodologies, with a focus on aligning technical solutions to business needs.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Ensure seamless integration of the new SAS platform with existing data pipelines and analytics workflows.
• Act as the technical liaison between the Bank and SAS, ensuring project milestones and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices on Bank to internal stakeholders and SAS during the transition.
